Who can access the course
All Oxford University students are welcome to take the module.
The course is however mandatory training for all students undertaking an international internship through the Summer Internship Programme and Crankstart Internship Programme, whether they are receiving Internship Office funding or not. Students going on an international internship must submit their certificate of completion before they can undertake the internship. Crankstart Scholars who source their own international internship and require funding should also complete the training.
How it works
Planning for a Safe Internship is a free, 30-minute interactive e-learning course that can you can complete in your own time.
Once you have booked the course, you will receive a booking confirmation and a link to the course itself. Throughout the module you will be prompted to answer questions which will generate a record of your completion of the course. You will need to visit every page of the training and pass the knowledge checks to complete it successfully.
At the end of the course, and if the course has been passed, you will receive a completion certificate.
