Career events and opportunities for University of Oxford research students and staff.
The events listed below are either part of our bespoke researcher programme or sessions from our wider programme that will appeal to a researcher audience.
Whilst some sessions will take place online, more interactive events will take place in person at the Careers Service building at 56 Banbury Rd, OX2 6PA, unless otherwise specified.
The Postdoc Power Hour (PoPoH) is a series of monthly one-hour online events designed specifically for postdocs and other research staff who are not students, and takes place on the first Friday of every month, 11 am to 12 pm, via Teams. The series is advertised on OxTalks so you can take a look at upcoming topics along with their link to join the session. Each PoPoH session covers: a brief overview of career and training support available to postdocs and other research staff across the University; a 30-minute lecture by an expert on the session’s theme; a Career Chat where a Careers Adviser for Research Staff will address careers concerns and questions; ideas for simple things you can do now for your career and work/life balance.
